Dark Matter eLiquid

Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.

Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.

Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Description

It's Gracie Snow's job as a new motion picture production assistant to get the legendary ex-football player, Bobby Tom Denton, back to his Texas hometown to begin shooting his first movie.

Good luck with that.

"There's been a terrible misunderstanding, Mr. Denton. Can't you see that I don't look like a stripper?" Gracie snatched up her suit jacket. "Please. Could we go somewhere private to talk?"

Bobby Tom sighed and uncoiled from his chair. "I s'pose we'd better. But you've got to give me your word you'll keep your clothes on. It wouldn't be fair for me to see you naked when my party guests can't."

"I promise, Mr. Denton, that you will never see me naked."

He looked doubtful. "I don't mean to question your good intentions, honey, but judging from my past history, it might not be that easy for you to resist."

A head-spinning battle of the sexes—with Beauty waging war against Brain—except this male beauty has a fine intelligence, and brainy Gracie isn't nearly as ordinary as she thinks.

Summary: "Standard"

Susan Elizabeth Phillips creates well rounded, sympathetic characters. I liked them, and I liked this book a lot for about half of its length...unitl it grew predicable and melodramatic. Gracie Snow, a repressed, mousy 30 year old virgin, is assigned to escort Bobby Tom Denton, a retired, very good looking football player, to a movie shoot in his Texas hometown. Naturally, Gracie is spunky, sweet and has a heart of gold--and undergoes a makeover to become a "hot little number." Bobby Tom, in addition to an enormous ego, is intelligent and basically kindhearted. Love, naturally, ensues.

Most romances have a lot of the "idiot" factor, which, quite simply, means that the only way the plot can work is if the characters act like idiots. We know they're going to wind up together. Can't we do it without the illogical rationalizations and absurd misunderstandings?

I suppose I'll read more of her stuff, but I'll take it out of the library. On the basis of this one, I'm not willing to spend my own money reading more.

Summary: "Self involved hero with a 30 year old virgin? Please!"

A jock who is completely full of himself plus a 30-year old virgin? It was so cliche! The whole time I wondered, WHY ARE YOU WITH THIS GUY? And when he finally gets a brain and some clue at the end, it was fogiven SO quickly... I dunno... the premis MIGHT have worked for a historical but definately does not work for a modern romance. I would give it half a star if I could. BTW, I am not bashing SEP for no reason, I do like some of her other books like "It had to be you", where the heroine had some spine and the hero was more mature than a grown up child with cowboy boots.

Summary: "What an Egotistical Hero!!"

This was my first SEP romance and I really did enjoy it a lot. But I have never read a book with a more self-absorbed and superficial hero than this... I lost track of the number of times my mouth hung open in absolute shock at the sheer extent of his humongous ego. In a way I can't blame him because of how famous he was and how women threw themselves at his feet, but could he have perhaps made his revelations of being a complete jerk a little sooner in the book and a little more realistically? I felt like his "ah ha!" moment was a bit forced and out of character... it was just so ingrained in his mind that he was not in love that when he had the revelation out of nowhere, I wondered where it came from, I did love the angle of how he never let any woman see his real emotions, except the heroine who ended up getting under his skin- very nicely done

This book had me wondering if men like this really changed in real life and realizing that this is a most uncommon occurrence, it seems like it would be so hard for a man like this to change

Anyway, fiction and reality are completely different dimensions and it was incredibly appealing to read about this kind of a man actually changing and falling in love... another annoyance that I had with the book was that when Gracie falls in love, she falls in love after seeing the worst of the Bobby Tom, he is making out with women left and right, manipulating them with lies..ect but he inspires love in her and I kind of pitied her in that moment, it's classic hot bad boy infatuation, I've felt it a time or two so I completely understand, but full-blown-out-love? I don't know... I usually stick to the historical romance, complete with redeemable rakes, but this contemporary really turned me on to this genre, the book was an emotional ride, funny and incredibly well written... so glad I picked it up!

Summary: "The Hero's mother had a better story to tell."

I liked this book. It was funny and engaging, but the author tries to be a Jennifer Crusie and it doesn't work all that well. Still, it's much better than most books out there. The hero and heroine are flawed characters... especially the hero. I never felt that the heroine was pathetic. She stood her ground with him, until he gave up. He was a jerk and that was the whole point. He had to stop being a jerk. This book reminded me of a poor version of Welcome To Temptation. The hero's mother had a better love affair going on and her story is much more interesting. For all the flaws in this book and for the flawed hero, I still liked it. I like flawed characters, so this book may not be for everyone. I like that he learns and is a fallen hero in the end, and has fallen in love as well. I can see why reviewers might not like the hero. He really is a jerk, but even jerks deserve a second chance. It was entertaining and funny. The middle sagged a bit and their love scenes weren't as good as his mother's was. For all it's flaws, it still had me turning the pages.
